Firstly, I must tell you what a website is, then we’ll discuss on how many type of website we have, who’s a blogger, and finally we’ll move on with our precious topic. Let’s get it started.
what’s a website?, a website is just a set of related web pages located under a single domain name, while domain name is the address where Internet users can access your website.

1. Forum website
A forum website is a type of website where people gathered to shared ideas with each other, you gotta ask questions and with the helps of other peoples you get the answer. Example is Quora and Nairaland
2. E-commerce
Ecommerce, also known as electronic commerce or internet commerce, refers to the buying and selling of goods or services using the internet, and the transfer of money and data to execute these transactions. Examples are Jiji.Ng, jumia.com, and others
3. Personal website
Personal website is simply the website you created for your personal use. For example you can create a website and name it your nickname or you can use your name as well. Especially if you are a singer or you own a particular business. We have many examples of this type of website in Nigeria like (Davido’s official website) iamdavido.com, (Wizkid’s official website) wizkidofficial.com, also (YBNL website) Olamide booking.com. So as a musician you can have this type of website to showcase your Music online.
4. Blog website
I can say that a blog and personal website have something in common but there’s a little different between the two. Blog website is where the owner blog what he or she knows online and this type of website have more post than that of a personal website. And under this particular type of website we have alot to explain about it when it’s time. Examples are notjustok.com, dailyNews.com, BBC.com, naijaloaded.com, Steady9ja.com, tooXclusive.com, 9jaflaver.com, and other Nigeria Websites.
5. Portfolio website
If you’re a photographer I can tell you that a portfolio website is the best for you as on portfolio website you can showcase your work to the world.
6. Photo Sharing websites
On a photo sharing websites you can simply post your pictures online and ask your followers to download it for free. Example of this type of website is Pixabay.com

Information website is very good nowadays, because 90 percent of the people are now browsing through Google to find answers to their questions online.
We have alot of website but I listed out a little out of it. I think in Nigeria these are the type of website you’ll like to create. And now you’ve all the website list let’s move on to the next level.
How to start a music blog website in Nigeria
First of all, for you to create a music blog website you must have two things, the first one is a domain name, the second one is hosting company.
Domain name And hosting company
There are many Nigeria domain name provider and hosting company like Whogohost.com, 101domain.com, domain king.com and others that you can buy a domain name, but for me I’ll advice you to register your domain name with the foreign companies like domain.com, bluehost.com, hostgator.com, godaddy.com, siteground.com and others. After you have the two you can now move forward to create your website.
To create a music blog website you’ve to choose the type of version you like for example we have bandzoogle blog website or WordPress website.
Bandzoogle version
bandzoogle is a type of music website that’s very easy to customize for the beginners as it’s already made in such a way that the user can easily edit it.
WordPress version
For me I’ll say WordPress is still the best among the others though it may not be easy in the beginning because you’ve to know how to edit a website with HTML code which we’ll discuss more on it later but as you’re proceeding you’ll used to it. Steady9ja, naijaloaded, 9jaflaver, notjustok and jaguda are also using the WordPress version.
